Lowville Journal & Republican 30 OCT 1919 A very pretty wedding took place at noon Wednesday. October 22, at. the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arba J. Loucks, when Miss Vera Ann Loucks became the bride of Mason Webster Vary. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.F. Rathbun, pastor of the M.E. church, in the presence of about sixty relatives and friends, the ring service being used. The couple were un-attended, and entered the parlor to strains of the wedding march played Miss Edith Green. The bride wore a gown of white satin, with white tulle overdress, trimmed with beads and ornament, and also wore orange blossoms,which were worn by the groom's mother 35 years ago, and which have been worn by twelve different brides. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. After the ceremony, a three course luncheon was served by Caieress Cook, of Lowville, who was assisted in serving by six young ladies. Minnie Roberts,Alice Austin, Gladys Bonner, Vera Andrus, Edith Green and Florence Henry. The dining room was trimmed with pink and white and at the bride's table were seated two pair of twins, the bride and sister. Mrs. Hodge, and Ray and Fay Vary The bride's traveling dress was a brown cloth suit with hat to match. After a trip to Massachusetts and other points, they will reside in this village, where the groom is in the employ of Brown and Bailey Co. The bride is the recipient of many useful and beautiful presents in cut glass, silver and ??. Those present from out of town. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Webster, Mr. and Mrs. W. L.
