Irondequoit, NY/Kissimmee, FL – Passed peacefully on January 15, 2018 at the age of 79. Survived by her twin daughters, Karen Miller & Kathleen (Bruce) Currier; granddaughters, Laura, Selena, & Amber Currier; longtime companion, Richard Geier; “favorite” cousins, Tom, Joanne, Fred, Russell, & Carol; many treasured nieces & nephews. Lois graduated from John Marshall High School. She received her degree in education from SUNY Potsdam College. She spent many years teaching. She was a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church where she made lifelong friends. She volunteered at a hospice care center. She enjoyed spending summers in Cape Vincent at the St. Lawrence River and winters in Florida. In September of 2016 she moved permanently, year round to Good Samaritan Village in Kissimmee, FL. Services are private and will be held in the spring. |
