He graduated in 1945 from Lowville Academy. Mr. Roy worked for many farms in the area, the Slater Coal Company, and Nortz Distributing prior to driving milk truck for Les Liscum beginning in 1960. In 1962, he purchased his own truck, drawing milk to the Lowville Producer's Dairy Co-Op for 31 years, retiring in 1991. Mr. Roy then went to work for South Lewis Central School, driving school bus for 10 years. He was a communicant of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Lowville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, riding wheelers, and most of all his little dogs, Buffy and Mollie. |
