Military	During the Korean Conflict
Shared note	He and Patricia Ayer divorced.
Note	Mr. Hutchins had worked at the former Hartnett Tannery in Ayer, Sampson Cordage and President's Suspender Company both in Shirley. A master machinist, he later worked for over 25 years as a millwright at Shanklin Packaging Company in Ayer, retiring in 2009. He was also a licensed stele erector and had participated in the construction of the Shanklin Company manufacturing facility. Red was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and kayaking. He was a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club. He was an accomplished wood carver and a professional archer.
