Vary Family

Mrs Landon was born in 1860 in Le Roy, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peleg Vary. she was educated at the one time famous Ingham University at Le Roy, and in 1878 was married to Mr. Landon who died in 1915. Their home for many years was on a farm near the Avon Lima town line in the West Main road. In more recent years, she had resided with her son, Henry, in College street here and was a devoted mother.

Mrs. Landon leaves a daughter Mrs. Floyd Nichols of East Avon, a son, Henry Landon of Lima and Two sisters Mrs. Hattie Clark of Avon and Mrs. Jennie Johnson of Rochester.
